Appearance
Sequence Indicator
Where a batch or state machine is, from one integer step tag and a list of step names.
In Studio
In Studio, double-click Sequence Indicator in the Components category of the Components panel. It is added to the open view, where you can drag it into place.
When to use
Use Sequence Indicator for batch phases and state machines. Pick stepper for a handful of steps, list for long sequences with a time per step and current for a compact card.
Properties
| Property | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Style | stepper, list, current | stepper | How it looks: stepper (default, numbered circles on a line), list (rows with a stamp per finished step and time left on the current one) or current (step n of N, its name, progress and what is next). |
| Step | String | (none) | The integer step tag. |
| Step Names | String | Fill,Heat,Hold,Cool | Step names, comma separated (Fill,Heat,Hold,Cool), or bind to an array. |
| First Step Number | Number | 1 | The step number the first name stands for (default 1). A value below it reads as idle. |
| Step Times | String | (none) | Optional stamps, one per step in order (bind to an array or a comma list): epoch milliseconds are shown as a time, text as it is. Shown on finished steps. |
| Time Left | String | (none) | Optional seconds left in the current step (or text), shown as 12:40 beside it. |
| Idle Text | String | Idle | What it says while the step is below the first step number. |
Binding
Click Bind… on the Step property and bind it to a tag or an expression to drive the live value.
This binding is read-only — the component never writes to the tag.
Read-only. A step past the list reads "Unknown step", and no value reads ---: it never shows the first or last step for a value it does not understand.
