Appearance
Map
Sites, lift stations, pipelines and zones on a map, with alarm status on each marker.
In Studio
In Studio, double-click Map in the Components category of the Components panel. It is added to the open view, where you can drag it into place.
When to use
Use Map for a geographic overview of remote sites. Markers show the worst active alarm under a tag folder, so an operator can see which site needs attention and click through to it.
Properties
| Property | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Style | hp-plain, street, satellite | hp-plain | The map style: hp-plain (default), street or satellite. hp-plain draws no imagery and needs no tile source; only the markers carry color. street and satellite use the tile source configured on the gateway (ConfigHub, Maps) and say so on a plain base if none is set. |
| Center Latitude | String | (none) | Center latitude. Leave the center blank to fit all markers, lines and polygons. Both latitude and longitude must be set for the center to apply. |
| Center Longitude | String | (none) | Center longitude. See Center Latitude. |
| Zoom (with center) | Number | 12 | The zoom level used when a center is set. |
| Min Zoom | Number | 1 | The lowest zoom the operator can reach. Default 1. |
| Max Zoom | Number | 18 | The highest zoom the operator can reach. Default 18. |
| Markers (JSON) | String | [] | The markers, as JSON text or bound to a dataset. Each is {id, label, lat, lon, alarmPath, tagPath, priority}. alarmPath is a tag folder: the marker shows the worst active alarm under it. tagPath is a tag whose Bad or Stale quality overrides that status. priority (0 diagnostic to 4 critical) fixes a status when there is no alarm path. |
| Lines (JSON) | String | [] | Pipelines or routes, as JSON text or a dataset. Each is {id, label, points: [[lat, lon], ...], alarmPath, priority} and takes the same status as a marker. |
| Polygons (JSON) | String | [] | Zones, as JSON text or a dataset, in the same form as Lines. |
| GeoJSON (text or asset file) | String | (none) | GeoJSON text, or the file name of a project asset, drawn as neutral outlines (boundaries, roads, pipelines). |
| Marker Look | pill, pin, dot | pill | pill (default, a label with the status shape), pin or dot. |
| Cluster Markers | true, false | true | When true (default), markers that overlap merge into a badge showing the worst status among them. |
| Cluster Radius (px) | Number | 44 | The merge distance in pixels when clustering is on. Default 44; values are kept between 16 and 120. To turn clustering off, set Cluster Markers to false. |
| Pan / Zoom | true, false | true | When true (default), the operator can pan and zoom by drag, wheel, pinch, double-tap or keys. False fixes the view. |
| Zoom Buttons | true, false | true | Shows the zoom buttons. They appear only when Pan / Zoom is on. |
| Scale Bar | true, false | true | Shows the scale bar. |
| Alarm Refresh (s) | Number | 10 | How often, in seconds, alarm status is re-read. The map clamps this to at least 3 seconds. |
Binding
This component has no single value binding.
Bind markers, lines or polygons to a dataset to build the map from data. Clicking a marker fires the On Action Performed event with that marker, which is usually wired to open a popup, and publishes selectedId, selectedLabel, selectedLat and selectedLon as live values.
